We are aware of the power outage affecting our area. Schools are ensuring that students receive lunch, and dismissal will happen on a regular schedule.

Students have a couple of permission forms that they need turned in ASAP. 8th graders are required to turn in their permission form for the float trip by tomorrow with Ms. McComb. Also, all students received an end of year trip form for a trip on Friday, May 30. This is due to Ms. Hill by Tuesday, May 27. All 8th grade parents need to log into their WVEIS account or child's WVEIS account and sign their child's PEP plan for high school. Thank you!

8th grade students went to Fort Warwick and the NRAO on Friday and had a great time. Thanks to our community members for getting our students involved and to our staff for planning this trip.

Please find the end of the year dates and activities for MMS!

We are pleased to inform parents that you should be able to see your child’s 2025 West Virginia General Summative Assessment results online within 24 hours after completing the ELA, math, or science tests. Please note that some ELA tests scores may be delayed due to random selection for hand scoring of student essays. We are sending a letter home with each student containing instructions for viewing the scores as well as an access code on May 15, 2025. Thank you and have a great evening!

🎉 We are THRILLED to share some incredible news! 🎉
Pocahontas County Schools and Nature's Mountain Classroom have been named West Virginia's Education Alliance "Hope for the Future: School-Business Partnership of the Year"! 🏆🌲📚
This honor celebrates the power of collaboration and the amazing things happening in our schools and community. Stay tuned—there’s more to come on this exciting recognition!
