Laurel Dilley
MAY 23, 2022
Thank you so much to all those that participated in the Egg Drop this year! We had 60 drops this year and 11 survivors. To be a survivor all three eggs must have survived the 40-foot fall from the silo at the high school. There was a great showing of projects, and we especially appreciate all the drops from Marlinton Middle School.
There were so many more middle school projects than high school, that we decided to combine 1st /2nd /3rd place into the projects as a whole county.
Congratulations to our winners:
First Place: Irelyn Withers (6th grade) - Mrs. Shreve
Second Place: Savana Sharp/ Paisley Lane (6th grade) - Mrs. Shreve
Third Place: Ayden/ Riley (7th Grade ) Ms. McComb
Survivors in any order: 11 out of 60 - Impressive!
